No More Room in Hell 2 No Console, No Codes, No Item IDs

Retail 1.0 has no tilde console, no redeem codes, and no spawn commands — trainers in public matches risk bans.

Console Commands & Codes — NMRIH 2

Search keeps asking for No More Room in Hell 2 console commands, item IDs, spawn codes, cheat codes, and redeem codes. The honest 1.0 answer is short: the retail client does not ship a player-facing developer console, and there is nothing to type into a codes screen. Pressing tilde (~) does not open a command prompt. There is no give, no god, no noclip, and no official item-ID list because the live game is server-authoritative eight-player co-op with Easy Anti-Cheat on PC.

This page exists so that search result does not send you to a trainer upsell. If you wanted Roblox-style codes, you have the wrong game. If you wanted the original Source NMRiH dedicated-server console, you also have the wrong sequel.

What you can actually configure

Everything legitimate lives in Settings, not in a console:

If a bind feels “broken,” check whether Hotfix 1.0.3.1 already reset Early Access leftover controller schemes. Unload rebind is still on the Known Issues list — that is a bug, not a missing console command.

Why item IDs are a dead end

Unreal Engine 5 NMRIH 2 does not expose a stable player.additem surface to public clients. Loot, infection, and extract rewards are validated on the session. A webpage that prints a table of “spawn this shotgun with this hex” is either leftover fantasy from another game or an ad for memory injection. Injecting inventory on a public match is how you desync, get kicked, or catch an anti-cheat ban. This wiki will not document trainer menus, pointer offsets, or bypass steps.

Solo Mode is for learning maps without online permadeath, not for enabling god mode. It still will not give you a console. See Solo Mode.

Redeem codes, Trello, and “free Merits” scams

There is no weekly creator code, no Twitch drop code box, and no in-game Redeem button. Merits come from Weekly Assignments and from official live-ops (the launch thank-you of three Merits ended August 24, 2026 at 12:00 EDT). The current live-ops window is 2X Responder XP through August 31 — that is a multiplier, not a code.

Fake “Trello codes” and Discord nitro loot links are phishing. Official destinations are on Official Links and Trello & Community. Torn Banner did not publish a public NMRIH 2 Trello.

Dedicated servers

The original No More Room in Hell supported community dedicated servers. NMRIH 2 1.0 matchmaking is official session hosting with cross-play across Steam, Epic, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series. There is no player-hosted dedicated server browser in the 1.0 feature set Torn Banner shipped. You play with friends through in-game party flow — Play with Friends and Cross-Play. “Console commands to start a listen server” are not a 1.0 support path.

What to do instead of cheating

If a site promises infinite ammo for public Nightmare, close it. The game’s entire identity is scarce ammo and permadeath. Removing that with a trainer in an eight-player lobby is griefing, not “single-player mods.”

Bookmark this page for the next friend who DMs “what’s the spawn command for gene therapy.” The answer is: find it on the map, or ask a teammate to share.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Responders preparing for the next deployment.

How do I open the console in NMRIH 2?

You don't. Retail 1.0 has no player developer console. Use Settings for binds and sensitivity.

Are there redeem codes or Twitch codes?

No. Merits come from Weekly Assignments and official live-ops. Ignore fake code lists.

Where is the item ID list?

There is no supported spawn-ID list. Public memory injection risks Easy Anti-Cheat action.

Can I host a dedicated server like the first game?

Not as a 1.0 feature. Use in-game parties and official matchmaking with cross-play.

No. Solo is practice without online permadeath or rewards. It does not add spawn commands.
